There was much excitement at Fan Central last Sunday (December 4), as Red Stripe took over the official World Cup watch party space, bringing football fans a celebrity penalty shoot-out for charity.
Leading the teams were football enthusiast and fashion designer Carlton Brown and athlete manager and head of LEEP Marketing, Tanya Lee Perkins.
Natalie Cole, member of Carlton Brown’s team for Red Stripe’s Celebrity Penalty Shoot-out for charity, proved to the Fan Central crows that she was skilled enough to take her team to the finish line.
The two Brazil fans brought their A-teams to compete for a chance to win J$100,000 towards a charity of their choice.
Both teams had a special advantage as former Reggae Boy, Jobi McAnuff joined Team Carlton and former Manchester United and England striker, Andy Cole sided with Team Tanya. Following a neck-and-neck faceoff, Team Carlton Brown emerged victorious, winning the sum for the Jamaica Cancer Society.
