Reggae artiste Avalanche says he is ending his hitaus to return to perform in the United Kingdom.

Avalanche, born Eron Hugh Brown, who is currently doing well internationally with his latest track, ‘Standing on the Mountain‘, has been booked for a Jamaica Independence show, set for August 5 in Coventry, England, and other shows in Europe.

The announcement by the artiste signals the end of a long five-year waiting period to return to Europe to perform.

“Right now, I give thanks to the almighty for right now this promotion and this mission I’m going on is one of the fruits I’ve been waiting on,” Avalanche said.

“I’m happy, excited to say I got signed with Sony Music Entertainment and 50/50 Global Muzik and tours are coming up soon,” the artiste added.

“I just got the artist visa to travel to Europe, specifically we want to go to Belgium, France and all that. I have a show on the 5th of August in Coventry, in the UK, that’s Jamaica Independence, and after the UK I have another show in Amsterdam further down in August. My producer and my booking team are looking forward to me performing in Germany as well so I’m very excited,” the singer mused further.

According to Avalanche, the last time he performed in the UK was in 2018 on a show that also featured Bushman.

“And it was a great one so I’m very excited to be able to travel to the UK again. My fans and my people are waiting.”

Meanwhile, Avalanche’s latest release, Standing on the Mountain, continues to do well internationally, including in continental Africa and in Chile, which he says is where his biggest fan base is.

The song, produced by Nyah Bless Music, is being distributed by Sony Music Entertainment.
