Reggae Boy Rumarn Burrell has signed for Queens Park Rangers, ending his one-year stint at League One club Burton Albion.
The 24-year-old striker, who made his Jamaican debut in May 2025, had scored 11 goals in all competitions last season to help them avoid relegation.
Burrell, who scored his first goal for Jamaica against Trinidad and Tobago on May 28, posted on Instagram his delight.
“Excited to be here and ready to get to work. Looking forward to contributing on the pitch and helping the team push forward. Let’s get to it,” said Burrell.
Burrell, who started out at Grimsby, also played for Middlesbrough, Bradford, Kilmarnock, Falkirk and Cove Rangers in the Scottish third tier, where he banged in 24 goals, then joined Burton Albion.
Reports out of England by Football League World had suggested that Plymouth Argyle have missed out on top transfer target Rumarn Burrell as their new number nine after a prolonged effort.
