Jamaica’s national women’s team, the Reggae Girlz, return to home soil on Friday night for a high stakes clash against Antigua and Barbuda in Group B of the CONCACAF W Qualifiers at Kingston’s National Stadium. Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m., as the team begins a pivotal stretch that also includes a home fixture against Guyana on April 18th .

With spots in the Concacaf W Championship and routes to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup and 2028 Olympic Games up for grabs, the pressure is on. Jamaica currently leads the group with a perfect record, sitting on six points from two matches and ahead on goal difference.

Antigua enters the contest without a point and already out of World Cup contention, but Jamaica will still be focused on delivering a strong performance. The squad will be without forward Jody Brown, who remains sidelined as a precaution, but captain Khadija Shaw is expected to lead the attack. Meanwhile, Chantelle Swaby is on the verge of reaching a new goal, needing just one more appearance to reach 50 international caps.
