Patrons returned to the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on Saturday, July 19, for Festival Night 2 of Reggae Sumfest 2025, where the mood shifted from dancehall fire to soulful elegance.
The night celebrated reggae’s richness and R&B’s emotional pull, drawing a crowd ready for smooth vocals, conscious lyrics, and timeless melodies.

The audience was treated to powerful messages, grounded performances, and fan favourites from various Reggae and R&B artistes, including Lila Ike, Protoje, Bugle, Tarrus Riley, and international headliner, Toni Braxton.
She enchanted the audience with her signature sound, drawing sing-alongs from fans who grew up on her heartbreak anthems.

Off-stage, the atmosphere remained vibrant with the Chill Yard offering festivalgoers a chance to unwind with friends and take in the slower rhythm of the night.
Guests sipped on refreshing pours from Red Stripe and Red Stripe Flavours, including the new mango-flavoured beer, which offered a sweet counterpoint to the evening’s soulful setlist.

With music floating through the night air and hands swaying to every beat, Festival Night 2 delivered a smooth and satisfying close to the Sumfest weekend, blending international flair with Jamaican soul in a setting built for connection and calm.
