On Sunday, Restaurants Associates Limited (RAL) opened four new restaurants in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

This includes two Popeyes locations, a Burger King, and a Little Caesars Pizza outlet.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, RAL’s CEO, Lisa Lake emphasised the company’s confidence in the business hub of Spanish Town.

She highlighted the strategic goals of RAL in creating over 100 jobs and broadening the company’s scope and presence in the fast food industry.

“This expansion underlines our belief in Spanish Town’s potential. We have been around for decades and remain committed to creating not just jobs but career opportunities for local talent,” Lake said.

One of RAL’s new Popeyes and new Little Caesars are located on Burke Road, and the other newly launched Popeyes and Burger King are located at Angels.

Several dignitaries including Mayor of Spanish Town Norman Scott, MP Denise Daley and MP Natalie Neita Garvey were also in attendance and expressed that the restaurants were avenues for economic development.

Over the next two years, RAL aims to open additional locations in Spanish Town, reinforcing its commitment to being a major player in Jamaica’s fast-food industry while expanding its over 60-operated restaurants.
