Resumption of annual public servants increments

The Ministry of Finance and the Public Service has advised that annual increments for public-sector workers will resume in the 2026/27 financial year following the completion of the New Compensation System. 

The Ministry says no increments will be paid for the period April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025, while future payments will remain subject to available funding and established conditions.

Payments will include annual increments and seniority allowances, where applicable Increments will only be paid if funds are available and existing terms and conditions are met.

Public sector entities are being asked to contact the Finance Ministry’s Human Resource Management Division for clarification before taking action.
