Attendees at the 10th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference can expedite their essential documentation needs through the tailored express services provided by the Registrar General’s Department (RGD).

This means that those who avail themselves of RGD services today, June 17, are guaranteed prompt availability of their certificates for collection on or before Wednesday, June 19.

The Diaspora Conference is being held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre from June 16 to 19, under the theme ‘United for Jamaica’s Transformation: Fostering Peace, Prosperity, and Youth Empowerment’.

Additionally, the services extend beyond the RGD’s standard offerings, which include birth, marriage, and death applications, and are being offered as an integral feature of the ‘Government at Your Service’ initiative within the Expo Marketplace.

Attendees also have a unique opportunity to explore their family history by applying for Outtamany Search (Genealogical searches) through the RGD’s Genealogy Research Facility.

This facility grants access to centuries of records housed in the Island Records Office at the RGD, enabling individuals to trace their familial lineage and heritage.
