American actor Robert De Niro, who is best known for his appearance in the film The Godfather Part II, has welcomed another baby to his family at age 79.

Now a father of seven, De Niro made the big reveal during an interview with ET Canada about his upcoming movie About My Father and fatherhood.

“I just had a baby,” he said correcting ET Canada‘s reporter Brittnee Blair during the interview who assumed that the actor was a father of six.

The Godfather actor remains close-lipped on additional details about the newest member of his family and with whom he has welcomed the child.

He is father to Drena De Niro, Raphael De Niro, Aaron De Niro, Julian De Niro, Elliot De Niro, Helen De Niro and the newest addition to the family.
