Jamaica Broilers Group Limited wishes to advise that the Honourable Robert E. Levy, OJ, CD, has resigned from his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors effective Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

In recognition of his distinguished service over 17 years as Chairman and more than 67 years with the Company, the Board of Directors has conferred upon Mr Levy the honorary title of Director Emeritus. 

The Board expresses its profound gratitude for his dedication and steadfast commitment, and looks forward to the benefit of his continued counsel in his capacity as Director Emeritus.

The Board has appointed Mr Gregory Shirley to the role of Chairman with immediate effect. 

Mr Shirley has served as an independent Director of the Company for almost 20 years. He has also served as a Director on the boards of several of Jamaica’s leading public and private sector organisations including as Chairman of several of these boards.

The Board extends its congratulations to Mr Shirley and looks forward to his leadership as Chairman.
