The UWI Carnival festivities continued as the UWI Mona Bowl erupted in a kaleidoscope of colour and music at the highly anticipated UWI Carnival: Tales of the Isles J’Ouvert event.

Local and international revellers alike gathered for the paint-filled celebration, ready to immerse themselves in the experience! From the first splash of powder to the last drip of paint, patrons danced and jumped their way through a night of soca, energy and non-stop entertainment capturing the essence of J’Ouvert in its truest form.

Sponsored by Rum Stripe, the high-energy event had one mission – to Spark the Rumvolution!
Upon entry, patrons were welcomed with complimentary samples of the brand’s newest Grapefruit flavour, as well as branded protective cases for their mobile devices. However, beyond the sponsored bars and eye-catching photo booths, the foam pit and J’Ouvert signature wall became the main attractions as they headed into the party.

At every turn, bursts and showers of water and powder added to the scene as the crowd moved to the beats from DJ Selector Watty, DJ Franco, DJ Brush 1, DJ Kevi the Kinetic, Zess, DJ Carlos A-Team, Fyahman, DJ Breeze, DJ Jubbadem and DJ Matt Camps. The energy remained high as the music kept the momentum going!
