Jamaican producer Tariq ‘Rvssian‘ Johnston is seemingly trolling ‘fellow producer’ Kyle Butler in the trailer for his upcoming ‘Payment Plan Riddim‘.

Weeks prior, Butler accused Rvssian of being a ‘gatekeeper’ in the music industry, after the authorisation fiasco surrounding the ‘Dutty Money Riddim‘.

The two then exchanged barbs in a war of words on Instagram,

“I’ll pay that ni*ga any price to go Live and [re]make Dutty Money Riddim from scratch” Butler posted on Instagram Story at the time.

“You just a fan that didn’t get acknowledged…one million must frighten me?” Rvssian replied on his story.

Rvssian, to prove that he built the original ‘GoGo Club Riddim‘ pulled up a video file where he showed the master file of the original version, then called ‘DINGDONGBUSTA’.

“Anyway, big up yuh self, mi need mi million dollars by a mawnin’,” Rvssian added, “Me’ll put yuh pon a payment plan.”

The controversy, which fans thought had died down, has regained traction as  Rvsssian releases a trailer for his upcoming ‘Payment Plan Riddim’.

The riddim’s trailer featured artistes Kraff, RajahWild, Jada Kingdom, Najeeriii, 9ine, Nigy Boy and Moyann.  TikTok comedian Swiss Lee also made an appearance.

The video has Kraff acting as a bank teller, approving civilian loans. Then, we see a customer coming up to the counter in what is supposedly Kyle Bulters’ old team jersey.

“I’m here for a loan approval… Your loan was successfully authorised for a million dollars, you can expect your payment plan in a couple of days,” said Kraff, playing on the initial ‘Dutty Money‘ controversy.

Jamaicans on social media were enjoying this ‘final blow’ aimed at Butler, calling Rvssian petty and messy.

“At this point, this is bullying [laughing emoji, crying emoji]” One fan commented under the IG post.

“Dancehall nice again [laughing emoji]”

“Marketing Genius.”
