Sagicor Bank Half-Way Tree branch will close effective tomorrow (August 13), as the financial company merges the operations of its Half-Way Tree and Tropical Plaza branches located along Constant Spring Road in S. Andrew.

Starting next Monday (August 16), the bank said clients with accounts at the Sagicor Bank Half-Way Tree branch, located at 6c Constant Spring Road, will be served at the Tropical Plaza branch, located at Shop # 25, 12 ½ and 14 Constant Spring Road in St Andrew.

The Half-Way Tree branch will be retrofitted to become a full service business resource centre, which the Bank opened earlier this year to support small and medium-sized businesses in partnership with the Jamaica Business Development Corporation. The automated banking machine located at the Half-Way Tree branch will remain open.

“This strategic decision was contemplated extensively, and we believe the timing is now ideal based on the increased usage of electronic channels by our clients. We will maintain our exceptional level of service and continue to improve the lives of the people in the communities in which we operate.”
