Sagicor Bank Jamaica says it will be delaying opening hours for its Savanna-La-Mar branch in Westmoreland for an indefinite period.

The company, in a public advisory, noted that the delay is as a result of an undisclosed security incident which occurred at the branch over the Easter weekend. Investigations are currently ongoing by the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

During this time, the bank is advising that impacted clients are encouraged to use Sagicor’s electronic banking channels while its Client Contact Center remains available by phone to assist with any concerns or inquiries.

Sagicor says its remains committed to the safety and security of its clients and team members and will continue to update the public as more information becomes available.
