Sagicor Group Jamaica, through its Sagicor Life and Sagicor Bank subsidiaries, was awarded the United Way of Jamaica’s 2022 Workplace Philanthropy Programme in the Bronze category for its outstanding contribution to nation-building.

The group was presented with the award at the United Way of Jamaica’s Nation Builders’ Awards Gala, where private and public sectors were celebrated for their efforts to positively transform lives across Jamaica.

Sagicor Bank Vice-President of Banking Operations Annette Osbourne accepted the award on behalf of Sagicor Bank. Sagicor Life Jamaica executive financial advisor, Shamar Clarke, collected the award for Sagicor Life.

The group noted that for decades, it has been delivering on its promise to contribute meaningfully to society by bridging gaps in our nation’s health, education, and sports sectors.

The Workplace Philanthropy enables corporations and government departments to pledge their support for sustainability efforts in education, health, and wellness, as well as income and entrepreneurship.
