Sagicor Life Insurance has expanded its operations to Dominica extending its operations in the capital of Roseau while offering wider general products and services to Dominicans.

The new office was officially opened at Corner Hillsborough Street and Great George Street, Roseau on the weekend. At the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, CEO of Sagicor life, Donald Austin commented that, with the expansion, Sagicor Life will ensure full digitalisation development in Dominica.

According to him, “I would just like to say that the evolution of the insurance industry is one in which we are seeing because of the last three years the evolution and development of digitalisation is coming more into being and certainly we will continue to ensure the full digitalisation process, which we have started at Sagicor which is reflected in all our businesses across the region”.

Austin pointed to Sagicor’s E-life system, launched two months ago, which he says will incorporate all of the lines of business so that customers can actually go on to the Internet and have access to its general insurance, life insurance and investments.

He assured the audience that in the next couple of months, people will see the development of not only the life insurance sector but also the general insurance sector.
