With Prada, Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren and  Diotima global campaigns under her belt, SAINT International supermodel Kai Newman just added a new client to her portfolio.

It’s British women’s and menswear designer Margaret Howell, for whom Newman co-stars in the Spring/Summer 2025 advertising launch alongside Belgian Anne-Catherine Lacroix and English peer Jeremy Young.

The campaign’s striking black-and-white visuals of the model trio photographed by William Waterworth and styled by Louis Prier Tisdall dropped three weeks ago.

Excitement is rife among the designer’s diehards who are already snapping up Howell’s latest seasonal offerings of her signature poplin shirts, linen and twill blazers, tank dresses, and twin pleat gingham shorts.

“It was my first time working with the Margaret Howell team, and it was great,” Newman informed Our Today last week, hours upon her return to The Rock after an extended stay in Europe where she worked on an assortment of high-fashion projects set to debut later this year.

The Jamaican star from Allman Town—whose ever-expanding credits include a solo cover of the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar February 2023 issue and walking for Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 show back in October—divulged that her booker Alec Mather at the Elite London modelling agency scored her the plum Howell assignment.

“We shot the campaign in London in November, above the St. James Park train station,” she recounted of the one-day shoot in front of celebrated photog Waterworth’s aperture. “It was amazing. We were shooting outside and it was cold but he made the shoot so much fun, you didn’t even realise the nippy weather.”

Detailing her favourite takeaway from the campaign shoot, she shared “it would definitely be interacting with the older models. Jeremy and Anne were very cool to work with, and I enjoyed learning more about them and their journeys.”

Now home in Jamaica, albeit temporarily, with her ‘princess’ six-year-old daughter Zehirah, the fashion industry mover shared: “When I’m not modelling, I am still working, being a full-time mommy. My leisure activities are creating memories with her, reading stories together and doing adventure activities, Her favourite place now is going to Dolphin Cove.”

Skipping the recently wrapped designer showcases for fashion month’s Fall/Winter 2025 collections across the world’s fashion capitals, Newman told Our Today “You will definitely see me back on the runway for the Spring/Summer 2026 shows come September and October.”

Besides Newman, SAINT International’s models have an established working history with Howell. SAINT breakout star Jessie Craig who was discovered by the Midas modelmaker Dewight Peters at Eltham High, currently appears in multiple looks for the designer’s Fall/Winter 2025 lookbook.

Meanwhile, Nigerian SAINT star Awaoro Mayowa featured in Howell’s Fall/Winter 20222 lookbook and Martiniquan Aurelie Giraud was the face of the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2021 lookbook.
