SALISES, Winrock launch ‘Stop Child Trafficking’ poster competition

The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at The University of West Indies and US non-profit organisation Winrock International have launched a ‘Stop Child Trafficking’ poster competition for children seven to 17 years old.

The competition is part of a US Department of State-funded project to enhance Jamaica’s efforts to combat child trafficking.

To compete in the poster competition, children aged 7-12 and 13-17 may submit hand-drawn posters asking the public to stop/prevent child trafficking in Jamaica, take a clear photo of it and email it to: [email protected].

APRIL 26 DEADLINE

The deadline for submission is April 26, 2021.

The UWI and GraceKennedy Co. Ltd. are providing prizes to the top five entries in each of the two categories.
