‘Saltfish from Norway’ brings flavour and creativity to Devon House Seafood Fiesta

The Saltfish from Norway brand delivered a standout experience at the Devon House Seafood Fiesta with its ‘Taste of Norway: Saltfish Delights’ pop-up activation. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the
Fusing bold Jamaican flavors with premium Norwegian saltfish, the pop-up offered guests a unique experience that celebrated flavour, culture, and creativity.
At the Saltfish Delights station, guests enjoyed a menu curated by chef Whitney Walcott, including sweet and sour saltfish with stir-fried noodles, saltfish-stuffed festival and saltfish pasta in creamy coconut sauce, which was cooked live on location.
These inventive dishes demonstrated saltfish’s versatility and encouraged patrons to try their own innovative saltfish creations.
Having already popped up for multiple stops in Kingston and Portmore, the ‘Taste of Norway: Saltfish Delights’ series continues to grow in popularity, deepening culinary connections between Jamaica and Norway while spotlighting the sustainability and global potential of Norwegian saltfish.
