Rebel Salute, one of Jamaica’s premier reggae music festivals, has announced the return of the Herb Curb experience at the upcoming 2023 festival.

The Herb Curb has now extended to a three-day experience, which commences with the 6th Annual Herb Conference tomorrow (January 19) at Hotbox Jamaica in Bonham Springs, St Ann in association with the St Ann Ganja Growers Association.

The experience then continues throughout the two days of the music festival with various exhibits, product displays, educational demonstrations, and an international panel discussion.

Rebel Salute is set to be held on January 20 and 21 at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, Priory, St Ann.

The sixth annual installation of the conference will explore the theme: Transition from Indigenous Rights
to Commercial Rewards. The ‘Herb Conference’ facilitates the participation of individuals, organisations,
and businesses, locally and internationally, to encourage linkages and actionable outcomes that will enhance the development of the Jamaican cannabis industry.

The topics which will be explored this year by industry experts include:

• Indigenous Cannabis Rights
• Grass Roots Agriculture
• Value-Added Linkages
• Formalising Ganja Tourism

Discussions will include key industry insights from Vicki Hanson, chairperson of the Board of the
International Drug Policy Consortium; Marcus Goffe, attorney; Blaine Dowdle of Itopia Life; Kathy
Lennon, Ras Biah and Ras Perty o the Rastafari and Grassroots Ganja Association; Dicky Crawford,
president, Jamaica Ganja Growers and Producers Association, and Richard Grant, market development
officer, H&L Agro.

Through its access to a captive Rebel Salute audience and large outreach to grassroots cultivators and
producers across the island, the Herb Curb builds upon an established cultural platform and provides a unique opportunity to provide exposure and education to the wider Jamaican and international community on relevant ganja issues.
