As Jamaica and the world at large usher in the Christmas season, the Sandals Foundation, along with its ambassadors from Sandals and Beaches Negril, recently ventured into communities and schools to spread the Christmas cheer.

The foundation delivered close to 1,200 toys and games to children in Westmoreland and Hanover.

It was a joy for students from Green Island Primary, Lucea Infant, West End ECI and Infant, Happy Hearts and Coote Savannah ECI as the philanthropic organisation’s ambassadors treated them to an early Christmas.

The children received snack packages, games such as Christmas sing-along and dance offs, and toys donated by American toy company, Hasbro.

Extending the Christmas joy to others in their communities; institutions such as Shepherd’s Inn and Savannah-la-Mar Public General Hospital were also recipients of toys and other resources.

More than 14,000 fun and educational toys and games are being distributed to children ages three to 13 right across the Caribbean, with the customary high-energy celebration that has been known to characterise the Sandals Foundation team and the incredible partners that help make the activities possible.
