In the wake of an increasing number of national health crises, it is even more evident the important role that healthcare professionals play in our society.

These extraordinary individuals selflessly help and care for others.

A main life source of this group are nurses who are considered to be the superheroes of the healthcare system.

Ahead of Nurses Day 2023, Sandals and Beaches Resorts in Negril made a surprise trip to the Noel Holmes Hospital in the Hanover capital of Lucea to offer words of encouragement and issue tokens of appreciation to the 66 hardworking nurses on staff.

In turn, the team was warmly welcomed by the staff who were truly appreciative of the gesture.
