Senior Jamaican business executive Sandra Glasgow tendered her resignation from the board of directors of Medical Disposables & Supplies Limited, the company has advised.

Glasgow’s departure was effective December 31, 2023, however, she agreed to remain on the board until the final meeting of the fiscal year.

This meeting was held on February 6, where the MDS board acknowledged Glasgow’s contribution to the development of the company in the various capacities in which she served,

Among her roles, Glasgow was an independent member of the board of directors, chairperson for the audit and compliance committee and board mentor since MDS’ listing on the junior market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange in December 2013.

The board extended its sincerest thanks and conveyed best wishes to Glasgow. MDS Limited indicated that a new independent director and board mentor would be appointed and publicly announced in the shortest possible time.
