Sasha Obama, the youngest daughter of former US President Barack Obama, and his wife Michelle, graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in Sociology on Friday (May 12).

Barack and Michelle must be very proud parents.

Sasha, who is 21, began at the University of Michigan and later switched to California, sharing a flat with her elder sister Malia and attending USC.

Sasha hails from a very bright and accomplished family.

Her father was the 44th president of the United States and her mother a top lawyer in Chicago. Her sister graduated from Harvard University and then went on to become a screenwriter.

Education does pay off and the future looks bright for young Sasha who now has a diploma.

Both parents and her sister were there at the ceremony to see her graduate.
