Secures placement in almost 300 World Market stores

Jamaican-owned Scotch Boyz, a company engaged in the manufacturing of sauces and seasonings, is expanding its reach to almost 300 stores in the United States.
Founded by four childhood friends – Drew Gray, Matthew Wallace, Neil Hudson and Kemar Swaby –Scotch Boyz recently inked a distribution deal with San Francisco, California-headquartered World Market.
According to Hudson, the chief executive officer, the Scotch Boyz team first connected with World Market at the Summer Fancy Food Expo 2023.

“After several months of fruitful discussions and strategic negotiations, our brand successfully launched across all World Market stores. This widespread distribution is a testament to our exceptional flavours and strong brand positioning,” he explained to Our Today.
The CEO pointed out that Jamaica Promotions Corporation played an integral role in facilitating Scotch Boyz exhibiting at the Fancy Food show as a part of a Jamaican delegation of companies.
He added that the founders anticipate “strong sales” from the partnership, which Scotch Boyz will leverage to expand its reach and bring the best of Jamaica’s flavours and rich culinary heritage to the mainstream American consumers.
Located in the Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland, the company’s products include the honey scotch sauce, hot pepper sauce, Jamaican jerk sauce, jerk seasoning, and scotch bonnet sauce.

“This expansion not only signifies Scotch Boyz’s commitment to spreading Jamaican culinary traditions but also highlights the growing demand for diverse and exotic flavours in the American market. As consumers increasingly seek out authentic international ingredients to elevate their cooking, Scotch Boyz stands poised to meet this demand with its line-up of irresistible sauces and seasonings,” Hudson stated.
In 2023, Scotch Boyz’s sauces ranked among People Magazine’s 50 Food Faves. Additionally, KeHE Distributors, a distributor of natural and organic, specialty, and fresh products in North America, selected Scotch Boyz as one of 44 Golden Ticket winners from over 1,000 applicants in the recent virtual TRENDfinder event.
At present, the Scotch Boyz team is actively developing and preparing to launch an array of exciting new products as they look to deepen market penetration in the US market.

Scotch Boyz distributes its products locally through Medical Disposables & Supplies. It also sells products on its website and e-commerce platform Amazon. In April last year, the Scotch Boyz brand secured placement on the shelves of over 250 Target stores in the United States.
“This expansion not only signifies Scotch Boyz’s commitment to spreading Jamaican culinary traditions but also highlights the growing demand for diverse and exotic flavors in the American market. As consumers increasingly seek out authentic international ingredients to elevate their cooking, Scotch Boyz stands poised to meet this demand with its lineup of irresistible sauces and seasonings,” the CEO said about the new distribution deal.
The company is now “doubling down on the North American market”; however, the directors are eager to explore other international partnerships.
