Scotia Group offices closed today

Scotia Group Jamaica has issued a statement advising that all its offices will be closed today.

“Our immediate priority today is the safety of our employees and their families, and assessing the impact [of Hurricane Beryl] on our branches and ABM network in order to restore service to our clients as quickly as possible,” the financial group said.

“In light of this, all Scotia Group offices including Scotiabank, Scotia Insurance, Scotia Investments and Scotia Protect will remain closed to the public today, July 4, 2024,” it continued.

Scotia also encourages its clients to continue using its online platforms to conduct business and personal transactions.

While thanking clients for their patience and understanding, Scotia disclosed that it reopen tomorrow, Friday, July 5, 2024.

“Scotiabank would like to extend its sympathies to those who have been affected by Hurricane Beryl,” the bank the financial group stated.
