After five years of sustained assets under management (AUM) growth across the Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) products it distributes, Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited has secured the number one position in market share among service providers in the CIS industry.

Over the five years ending December 2025, SIJL increased its market share by approximately 6 percentage points, rising from 24.6% in 2020 to a commanding 32.8%. This steady upward trajectory not only demonstrates SIJL’s resilience amid dynamic market conditions but also its ability to continuously meet the evolving needs of investors across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

In response to SIJL’s performance, Marie Lyn James, head of Investment Management, CCA, stated, “We are very excited about being the largest collective investment schemes provider. It is a testament to our dedication in curating and providing appropriate investment solutions for our clients to help them grow their investment portfolio in a sustained way despite varying market cycles. The confidence of our clients, which is reflected in their investing into our various top-performing investment products, demonstrates that they view SIJL as their trusted financial partner”.

A subsidiary of Scotia Group Jamaica, Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited (SIJL) provides a full suite of investment advisory and wealth management services tailored to individual and business clients. The organisation has earned a reputation for high-quality portfolio management, disciplined oversight and client-first service that have contributed to its continued industry leadership.

In 2025, SIJL also received the prestigious Best Pension Fund Manager in Jamaica and the Caribbean award from World Finance, recognising the firm’s excellence in managing retirement assets and delivering strong, resilient performance for pension clients. This award highlights SIJL’s regional impact and shows its role as a benchmark for innovation and governance within the Caribbean’s financial sector. The entity’s growth is due to strong and consistent fund performance delivered by an experienced team of portfolio managers that manages funds through varying market cycles.
