Ahead of its move to go private and delist from the Jamaica Stock Exchange, Scotiabank Jamaica has made two new executive appointments in Nicole Lalor-Ingram and Sarah Cumming.

Cumming has been appointed  Director and Head, Corporate Finance Caribbean, effective July 1, 2026, while Mrs Lalor-Ingram has been promoted to the role of  Business Enablement Director, effective June 8, 2026. In this new role, Mrs Lalor-Ingram will represent the company on key external boards, engage regulators and internal stakeholders in support of compliance and advocacy priorities, identify operational efficiencies and lead complex change initiatives. 

She joined Scotiabank as a Teller and has progressed through a number of increasingly senior roles, building strong capabilities in transformational leadership, strategic influence, and project execution. Throughout her career, Mrs Lalor-Ingram Nicole has led initiatives of varying scales that delivered meaningful financial value to the organisation while maintaining a strong focus on client experience.

In her most recent role, Lalor-Ingram Nicole served as a Director, Jamaica Operations Centre, where she led significant cultural transformation and workforce modernisation efforts while maintaining consistently strong levels of employee engagement. She holds an Executive MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Jamaica Bankers Association Operations Committee and is a Director of Automated Payments.

Cumming, in her new role as Director and Head, Corporate Finance Caribbean, will lead the unit responsible for structuring and executing mandated transactions in coordination with Corporate and Investment Banking. She will maintain strategic relationships with clients and relationship managers across the region to originate structured finance transactions and deliver an integrated value proposition in collaboration with other regions and industry specialists.

Sarah has more than 15 years of international Corporate and Investment Banking experience. In her most recent role as Head of Corporate Solutions and Investment Banking, she consistently delivered strong results, exceeding targets for sales, capital markets fee income and referral generation. 

Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for originating opportunities and collaborating across boundaries to deliver meaningful value to clients and overall growth objectives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Queen’s University in Canada.
