Scotiabank has renewed its brand ambassador contract with decorated sprint sensation Shericka Jackson for the next three years.
The financial giant, in a statement, said extending the contract only solidifies the connection and reflects the deep mutual respect and shared values between the athlete and Scotiabank.
“It’s an incredible feeling to know that Scotiabank believes in my ability and supports the hard work I continue to do,” Jackson said, expressing gratitude for the ongoing commitment.
The partnership between Jackson and Scotiabank has been marked by numerous memorable moments and as Jackson recounts, “I have many memorable moments with Scotiabank, but the one which stands out the most is Oregon 2023, when I won my first individual gold medal and they were there in person to witness it”.

The victory, which was a defining milestone in her career, is a testament to her relentless dedication and the unwavering support from Scotiabank much like its commitment to Jamaicans for over 130 years.
Recalling her own experience with supporting Jackson from the sidelines of the track, Tonya Russell, marketing head at Scotiabank shared, “Our decision to partner with Shericka has been nothing short of phenomenal. She is a great ambassador and continues to demonstrate why this partnership is mutually beneficial; being able to experience the wins and disappointments with her is a testament of Scotiabank’s own belief in being there for every stage that life takes us”.
Beyond the track, Jackson’s relationship with Scotiabank is deeply personal. “Scotiabank’s core value of being accountable is a personal favourite quality of mine because, as a customer and ambassador, it gives me confidence knowing that banking with Scotiabank is secure”, said Jackson.

A key factor in Jackson’s decision to renew her contract is Scotiabank’s commitment to community development, a deep passion she’s had over the years.
“I’m super passionate about giving back, especially to my community and Scotiabank has assisted me with my annual Christmas treat every year since 2022,” she noted. Her enthusiasm for philanthropy extends through her work with the Shericka Jackson Foundation, with plans to expand her community outreach initiatives in collaboration with Scotiabank.
For Jackson, this renewed partnership represents more than just another year with a corporate sponsor, it’s a continued journey of mutual growth, community engagement and shared success.
