Following a smooth baton pass, Scotiabank Jamaica today (February 17) welcomed Jamaican athlete Shericka Jackson as the financial institutions first-ever brand ambassador.
The freshly inked sponsorship arrangement comes months ahead of the 2022 World Athletics Championships slated for July 15-24 and will see the Bank providing financial support to Jackson’s athletic career for the next three years.
The historic partnership is the first of its kind in the bank’s 132-year history and is the first local corporate endorsement deal of Jackson.
As the two-time Olympian runs confidently with the title Scotia Group Jamaica Brand Ambassador, CEO of Scotia Group, Audrey Tugwell Henry expressed her elation at the bank’s “proud first”.

“We are beyond elated to welcome Shericka to the Scotiabank family and we are very honoured to be part of her journey,” stated Henry.
“This is a proud first for us at Scotiabank and we are very excited to be able to partner with such a dynamic athlete, who is loved both locally and internationally.”
