Sean Diddy Combs has been transferred to a federal prison in New Jersey following his conviction on prostitution related charges in New York.
The music mogul is now at FCI Fort Dix, part of the military’s Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, northeast of Philadelphia.
Just days ago, he was still at a detention centre in Brooklyn.
Combs, 55, was sentenced earlier this month to just over four years for violating the Mann Act, though he was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has been in custody since his arrest in September 2024 and is appealing both his conviction and sentence, with an expected release date in May 2028.
His legal team had hoped FCI Fort Dix would allow him better access to rehabilitation programmes and family visits. Combs will join more than 4,100 other inmates at the facility as he begins this next chapter behind bars.
