

Grammy award-winning artiste Sean Paul and Reggae legend Beres Hammond have teamed up to release their first song together, Rebel Time, on Friday (May 5).
Paul made the announcement in an post on his Instagram on Saturday (April 30) that featured a video of him and the I Feel Good artiste dancing in studio to a snippet of the song.
“We got the one an only Beres Hammond on our new chune #RebelTime dropping May 5th, when was the last time you heard a lovers rock record like this???” he captioned the post, to which Beres replied: “Big chune DuttyPaul”.
The announcement was well received by fans who shared that the new single came at the right time.
“This type of music is necessary in the airspace” authentic reggae and dancehall, not only killing tunes and skin out songs big up Beres an Sean Paul,” one user wrote. “The Culture needed this badly Rockers,” another user wrote.
In November last year, Sean Paul had said he was looking forward to releasing music with Beres, Charly Black, and other artists within the next few months. This means that music lovers may be gifted with a few more collabs soon.
