It has been reported that American rapper Nelly and singing sensation Ashanti tied the knot in a secret ceremony over six months ago.

The two are expecting their first child together.

This will be the ‘Way That I Love You’ singer’s first child and Nelly’s third biological child.

The ‘Hot in Here’ rapper also adopted two adopted children, his niece and nephew after his sister Jackie died from leukaemia complications in 2005.

The two dated in the early 2000s and after a decade apart, they reconciled and confirmed their engagement in April

However, it seems the two stars have been legally married since December 2023, according to public records obtained by TMZ.

It is alleged that they tied the knot in St Louis County, Nelly’s home town.

Neither artiste has yet to confirm the happy news.
