Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr Horace Chang, has sought to reassure the public that the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) will not stop until they find the perpetrators who murdered eight-year-old Danielle Rowe.
The Minister made the statement during a visit to the family of Rowe yesterday (June 11).
Chang pointed out that “this is a tragedy and an extreme act of brutality.”
He also reassured the family that all investigative teams of the JCF will not stop until they have tracked down the perpetrators of this brutal act and brought them to justice.

The Minister was joined by the Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson, and representatives of the JCF Chaplaincy Unit.
Reports are that Rowe, the daughter of an active JCF corporal attached to the St Catherine South Division, was abducted from the Braeton Primary and Infant School in St Catherine. She was later found with her throat slashed in St Andrew and was rushed to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, where she was being treated.
The eight-year-old died on Saturday (June 10) due to her injuries sustained.
The JCF said a cross-divisional probe is being undertaken by the St Andrew Central and St Catherine South police divisions.
