Colin Barrett, winner of theJamaica ‘60 & Boasy’ with JN Money promotion, for the Southeast USA market, celebrates his winnings.

It’s not every day that you get a phone call informing you that you’ve won an all-expense trip for two to the beautiful, tropical island of Jamaica. For that reason, when 66-year-old Colin Barrett, construction worker from Lauderhill, Florida, learned that he was the grand prize winner of the Jamaica ‘60 & Boasy’ with JN Money promotion, for the Southeast United States market, he was very excited.

“When I got the call, at first, I was wondering why JN Money would be calling me now. But after they informed me and I went to the branch, I was happy. I feel good to know that I left Jamaica and still came here and won something from Jamaica,” he said.

“It is beautiful.”

JN Money is a global remittance company which is Jamaican-owned.

“Every month I send money for my wife and kids in Jamaica. I have three kids in Jamaica, one of whom is still in school. I use JN Money because it is the most convenient way for me to send money and there are no long lines.”

By sending a JN Money transfer during the period, August 1 to December 24, 2022, customers were eligible for entry into the promotion.

“Every month I send money for my wife and kids in Jamaica. I have three kids in Jamaica, one of whom is still in school. I use JN Money because it is the most convenient way for me to send money and there are no long lines,” Barrett said.

He added that pick up is also quick and easy for his family in Jamaica. The former carpenter, who is from the Kingston Central area in Jamaica, said he has been living in Florida for about five years and has been using JN Money to send funds back home since then.

He will be taking the vacation with his wife.

ALL WORK AND NO PLAY…

Maxine Hinds, regional manager for JN Money Services (USA) Inc, Southeast, said the company would not have been successful without its loyal customers and one of its mandates is to give back to them in meaningful ways.

“The adage says ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,’ and we know that our customers work extremely hard to be able to take care of themselves and send funds to family and friends in the various markets. As a result, we wanted to give them a chance to also “play hard” with a vacation of a lifetime,” she explained.

Hinds pointed out that the vacation includes roundtrip airfare, a three-night all-inclusive hotel stay, an adventure tour, as well as chauffeur services to and from the airport for two.

Customers in USA Northeast, United Kingdom, Canada, Cayman, and Antigua also won a dream vacation and two customers in Jamaica and one in Cayman, each won a brand new 2023 Kia Seltos.

The winners of two 2023 Kia Seltos from Jamaica are Omar Johnson, 42-year-old farmer and chef of Cascade, Hanover, and Omera Belinfante, 21, a student from St Elizabeth.
