On Saturday, October 9, fire destroyed the Seprod warehouse that operated through the subsidiary, Facey Commodity Company Limited. In its financial results, the company stated that the cause of the fire is being investigated.

In light of the fire that claimed one out of four of the company’s warehouses, the distributors have constructed another.

Seprod shared that the loss in goods and property was significant, and expressed gratitude to their staff for their support.

The company’s finances have plummeted with profits dropping to $495 million for its September third-quarter of 2021 and in the corresponding quarter of 2020 the distributor’s profits stood at $1.18 billion.

Despite this, their revenues grew to $11.3 billion for the quarter from $10.5 billion in 2020.
