The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) is reminding the public that the deadline to apply for the upcoming Voters’ List is Tuesday, September 30.

Individuals who successfully register will be added to the updated list to be published on November 30, 2025.

Eligible persons are required to apply in person at any EOJ constituency office between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm on Fridays.

Applicants should wear dark-coloured clothing (avoiding white or light colours) to have their photograph taken. Following the in-office application, a residence verification team will visit the home address provided by the applicant to complete the process.

Registration is free of cost.

Applications submitted after September 30 will be processed for the subsequent publication of the Voters’ List, scheduled for May 31, 2026. Persons already on the Voters’ List are reminded not to reapply.

Eligible persons must be at least 18 years old and a Jamaican or Commonwealth citizen, having resided in Jamaica for a minimum of 12 continuous months prior to registration. Commonwealth citizens residing in Jamaica must provide relevant documentation when applying.

The Voters’ List is updated and published each year on May 31 and November 30.
