Several artistes lend voice to calls for the safe return of missing 9-year-old

Pamputtae, Spice and Popcaan are among a group of artistes who have come out in support of efforts to find missing 9-year-old Phylisa Prussia.

Prussia who has been missing since Thursday (October 14) has captured national attention after it was revealed that she may have been kidnapped while playing in her yard.

Following the news of her alleged abduction several notable figures have come out in support of calls pleading for her safe return.

St Thomas native Popcaan has been particularly unnerved by the incident and has been using his social media platforms to raise awareness about the incident.

“Me Bath people find this little girl for me please and thanks,” Popcaan said in an Instagram post in which he shared a  digital news clipping of the incident.

“We can’t make it slide. Spread the word and help to find her please,” he added.

Female dancehall artiste Spice and Pamputtae made similar pleas using their social media platforms.

“Let’s report this man ASAP. I know someone out there must know where he is. Last seen in Bath, St Thomas. Please do the right thing. She’s only 9-year-old,” said Spice who shared a photo of the child and a man, who police have identified as a person of interest in the case.

“We need your help,” added Pamputtae, who also shared a photo of the missing child and the man.

To date at least two search parties have been organized in an attempt to find the missing 9-year-old.
However, to date the searches have proved futile.
