Dancehall veteran Shaggy will be on the road this summer, following the release of his 2022 album, Com Fly Wid Mi.

The singer, in late March, released the 11-track album produced by English singer, Sting. On the album, Shaggy does reggae covers of songs by American singer, Frank Sinatra. The album has been described as the Frank Sinatra songbook in reggae style.

Posting the tour’s schedule via Instagram, Shaggy wrote: “The tour has begun! Get your tickets NOW! 💥(link in bio).”

Appearing on ABC’s GMA3: What You Need To Know feature earlier this week, Shaggy spoke about the album, as well as his recent award of an honorary degree from Brown University.

Recounting how Com Fly Wid Mi came to be, he noted that it was while relaxing amid the 44/876 tour with Sting, that the English singer, impressed by the likeness of his and Sinatra’s voices, suggested the project, which came to be, three years later.

The It Wasn’t Me singer, who will be live in concert from June through to August of this year, described receiving his Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from the Ivy League institution as a great experience.
