Ahead of her coronation, Singh claimed wins in the Serengeti Talent Fast Track Event, which she won with a traditional Indian dance, and the Fort Clarence Beach Beauty Event.

She will now seek to follow in the footsteps of Toni-Ann Singh, who famously won the Miss World title in 2019 and became the only Miss World to serve for two consecutive years after the 2020 event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before that, Jamaica last claimed the Miss World crown when Lisa Hanna took the title in 1993.

Miss Poland Karolina Bielawska, the reigning Miss World, will crown her successor during the 71st Miss World coronation, the location and date of which have yet to be announced.
