Driven by her commitment to change Jamaica one life at a time, Sheena Nagrani, executive chairman and founder of the Life Revamped Foundation, is continuing in her bid to do just that with the official registration of the foundation under the Charities Act and securing an office location.
The Life Revamped Foundation, formerly Life Transformers Foundation that was launched in December of last year, is geared towards making valuable contributions to Jamaicans through charitable donations.
The first initiative of the foundation was started when Nagrani and her husband decided to donate to someone who was in need during the Christmas holiday. However, she soon realised that there was a large number of persons in need of assistance, which resulted in her launching the foundation.
However, Nagrani shared that the move to register the foundation under the Charities Act is a step further in formalising the foundation and attracting more corporate donors to come on board to assist with the cause.

“It [Life Revamped Foundation] was started really just from me doing it from a personal aspect at that point in time but it wasn’t until recently early 2023 between January to March that I really got listed and registered under the Charities Act. I got it registered under the Charities Act and decided that I wanted to do it full-time, so I got an office to fulfill everything that I feel like I need to on an everyday basis,” she said.
Nagrani outlined that the Life Revamped Foundation is not limited to a specific charitable causes but is one that is open to individuals who are in need.
“My charity isn’t limited to a specific charitable cause, so it is really open to anybody at all that needs help overall, a lot persons would ask do you focus on people disabled, do you focus on the blind, I don’t believe in having a limited access to persons, I just want to concentrate on the overall board so its not limited a specific charitable cause,” she said.
Since its launch, the foundation has donated over J$4 million in donations to individuals, including school supplies, housing, and medical expenses.
“We recently just fulfilled someone’s Christmas wish, she attends Holy Childhood High School, and her wish was to get uniforms, books, and her school fee paid and we did that,” Nagrani said.
Nagrani shared that her passion for assisting others is driven by her own life experiences and wanting to make a difference in the lives of others.
“I have been in a position before where I had less and I know what that feels like and I have been extremely blessed, I would just love for others to feel the same and I would just love for others to feel hopeful as well,” she said.
“In the next five years, I want my foundation to be known as the one who changes lives. I want to change Jamaica one life at a time,” Nagrani added.
