Fans and the star alike appear to be quite excited for the album’s release. Shenseea, who has been promoting ALPHA on her Instagram account, in a recent interview with Apple Music 1, shared that her debut album has been in the making for a few years since her breakout back in 2015.

“I’ve been working on it for quite a long time now, and now it’s finally done and I feel like this is the best of the best.”

Since emerging on the music scene, the Good Comfort DJ has made some significant changes to her vocal style and lyrical content, something she recently shared she had always vowed to do.

“Every single track is different, every single one of them. Like, it’s me just showcasing different sides of me. It’s my first album, I’m practically experiencing, I don’t know what people will gravitate towards the most so I’m just throwing it all out there but it’s the best of the best from myself.”

In an effort to effectively achieve this, and gain the international reach she desires, the singer made recent changes to her management, with the addition of international co-manager Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby to her team.

Shenseea has so far released a few singles from the album which includes a well-rounded guest list of international artistes – Lick featuring Megan Thee Stallion, R U That featuring 21 Savage and Blessed featuring Tyga.
