Shericka Jackson’s fine form continues on Tuesday (July 6), after an impressive 21.96-second run in the women’s 200m at the Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix.

Jackson, improving on her Stockholm performance on Sunday, finished ahead of decorated Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Dutch darling Dafne Schippers, who copped respective second and third places in 22.15s and 22.70s.

The time also bests Miller-Uibo’s July 2019 meet record of 22.18s.

The second-fastest Jamaican following the Olympic trials in late June, Jackson easily outclassed a field comprising of Mujinga Kambundji, Morolake Akinosun, Dezerea Bryant, Desiree Henry and Jusztina Csóti.
