The People National Party (PNP) got the new year off to a bright start with its Media Mingle held at the official offices of the Leader of the Opposition in Kingston on a sunny afternoon on Sunday.

This will be a defining year with a general election being called sometime before September.

The PNP’s leadership cadre was in high spirits as polls indicate it is gaining ground and Mark Golding’s popularity continues to climb.

However, hard politics was set aside on Sunday as camaraderie and bonhomie took centre stage.
