Skeletal remains confirmed to be that of slain entertainer Medikk

The skeletal remains of a body discovered by police investigators in February have been confirmed to be those of entertainer Stephany Williams, more popularly known as Medikk.

This was revealed by a post-mortem. The processing of DNA samples has revealed that her cause of death was due to fatal gunshot wounds.

The decomposed body of the entertainer was discovered in a cane field in Wallen, St Catherine, on February 14.

The police have now upgraded the case from a missing person to a murder investigation.

Medikk was last seen on August 24, 2023, leaving her Mayfair, Red Hills Road apartment in St Andrew.
