Dancehall artiste Skeng is on Friday (November 4) set to release his debut EP, Beast of the Era, featuring a collaboration with fellow artiste Shenseea.

Skeng made the announcement last night (November 2) on Instagram with a post detailing the track list for his upcoming release.

The EP has six songs produced by prominent names in the industry such as Rvssian and Skeng’s longtime collaborator and label, DiTruth.

Shenseea will collaborate with Skeng on It’s True, one of the tracks that will be produced by Rvssian. The other that will be produced by Rvssian is called Thug life.

Demons Awake will be produced by DiTruth, Skeng’s label which also produced his hit song Likkle Miss and its remix featuring international rapper, Nicki Minaj, which garnered him his first Billboard Hot 100 placement.

Two tracks will come from John Coop Records, namely New Era and Highway, with the sixth song, Eediattt ‘Idiot’ Jigsta produced by Droptop records.

Skeng is a fast rising Jamaican artiste known for his controversial singles Protocol and Protocol Part 2 with fellow dancehall artiste Tommy Lee.

Both songs have come under heavy scrutiny for their glorification of molly and scamming.

Just last month, the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica issued a ban on songs that promote guns, drugs, and any other illegal activity from radio and television.

However, it is unclear what the content of this debut EP will entail for the Ratty Gang artiste.
