Jamaican dancehall artiste Skillibeng is set to join Nigerian afrobeat superstar Wizkid’s ‘More Love Less Ego’ tour.

Skillibeng was announced as an addition after Wizkid posted the upcoming dates to the North American leg of the tour, which the ‘Eastsyde’ artiste also shared with his over 760,000 Instagram followers.

Born Emwah Warmington, Skillibeng is known for his unique flow, witty lyrics, and distinct voice.

The artiste first gained attention on the dancehall scene with his 2019 single Brik Pan Brik, which quickly became a viral hit and garnered millions of views on YouTube.

Since then, Skillibeng has released numerous popular songs such as Crocodile Teeth (remixed by American rapper Nicki Minaj) Shake, Mr Universe, and Not.

Since the start of his career, Skillibeng has also collaborated with local artistes like Tommy Lee Sparta, Popcaan, and Jada Kingdom, and has gained a significant following both in Jamaica and internationally.

His music is characterised by his rapid-fire delivery, clever wordplay, and inventive use of slang.

The two artistes previously collaborated on Wizkid’s single Slip N Slide on which dancehall princess Shenseea was also featured. The two connected last year during Skillibeng’s maiden US tour.

That track was among the lead singles to promote his recently released More Love, Less Ego album after which the tour is named.

The North American leg of the More Love Less Ego tour date is set to kick off on March 3 in Houston, Texas.
