Vincentian soca star Skinny Fabulous and international super-mixer, Jr Chromatic, are well prepared for the highly anticipated Hennessy BRT Weekend celebration.

Scores of patrons are looking forward to the popular spring break series which boasts a stellar roster of artistes and DJs included in the lineup. Skinny Fabulous is first on the lineup performing live at Vip Brunch and River Excursion at Dunns River Falls, Ocho Rios on Friday (March 10).

After an active carnival tour in Trinidad, the artiste said he is ready to bring the energy to Jamaica.

“Persons can expect a rowdy high energy performance. I [plan to] show up and take in the energy of the people and then decide what approach is needed,” said Skinny Fabulous.

Having pursued his tertiary education in Jamaica, he is happy that the celebration is happening on familiar grounds.

“I love that BRT is happening in Jamaica, the place I went to school and made good memories,” he explained.

Meanwhile, no stranger to the BRT stage, JR Chromatic shared that he is excited and looking forward to a high-frequency weekend.

“I’m truly looking forward to this particular staging in Jamaica. BRT is all about energy- whether it’s keeping up with the crowd or them keeping up with me, I’ve been sticking to my workout regime and adding a few extra moves to get me ready,” he remarked.

The popular Chromatic team will be juggling at a few events over the weekend. Namely, Vip Brunch and River Excursion, Beach Bounce, and BRT All White. JR noted that the team will be passing through with the “vibes” and are promising “March Madness with Chromatic” at the spring break event.

Hennessy Jamaica was recently announced as the official title sponsor of the event as they promise to bring a unique and elevated experience to the staging by showcasing its premium cognac and offering signature cocktails to attendees. All while celebrating Caribbean culture, music, and entertainment.

BRT Weekend is an annual, three-day, all-inclusive event series that features a weekend of Caribbean-inspired entertainment and culture, including music, food and partying.

The lineup boasts some of the hottest DJs, including Bounty Killer, Skeng, Ding Dong, Valiant, and Kraff among others.
