KelKar’s Katering, also known as K’s Katering, is a food service catering company, that provides foods, desserts and beverages for small and large-scale events, and also offers rental services for caterers to access warmers, tablecloths, tents and other equipment.

It was started in 2016, by Kelsé-Ann Watson-Walker and her aunt Karnette Batchelor Evering, after seeing the opportunity to expand beyond doing community outreach and church programmes.

K’s Katering offers vegan, vegetarian, chicken, and seafood dishes.

“Mostly I cater to what the customer desires based on what we discuss,” said Watson-Walker as she explained her catering offering.

After her now husband entered the business in 2019, and her business partner and aunt elected to step away from the business, K’s Katering elected to start offering equipment rentals and operating a roadside kitchen.

Although heavily impacted by the pandemic, K’s Katering remains optimistic about the future

“During covid, no events were going on so that was really rough for us, but with prayer, we somehow made it through it,” said the caterer recalling her covid experience

“Right now we’re all about expansion, we’re trying to be a part of more corporate events, and we want to show that even though we’re small we can give excellent service,” she continued
