Every great store deserves great exposure. Here, at Our Today, we highlight Jamaican entrepreneurs making a positive mark in the small business space. We believe every good business – particularly local stores with excellent customer service, trendy products and a strong social media presence – deserves to be recognised for its quality service.

Khazana Foods is a catering service offering Jamaicans a chance to purchase delicious authentic Trinidadian foods. The service currently offers foods such as roti, dhalpuri, buss up shut, doubles, curried mango and much more.

Khazana Foods is a team effort by husband and wife Naim and Zanifa Khan and the name originates from using the first syllables in their names Khan-Zanifa-Naim. Khazana also translates to ‘treasure’, which they consider all food from Trinidad and Tobago.

Zanifa’s family has been doing catering for generations. She recalled learning to cook from her grandparents who were caterers in their own right in Trinidad & Tobago. When she and her husband moved to Jamaica in the late 1990s, they brought their tradition of quality catering here with them and have had clients among hotels, business functions and even the recent independence celebration at the Trinidad & Tobago High Commission. Their food is already popular among the Trinidadians currently in Jamaica and now they want to share their food with the rest of Jamaica.
